Day 19: Favorite Action Film — Raiders of the Lost Ark

Before George Lucas lost his nerve and became a shell of himself he, and Steven Spielberg created one of the greatest, and most celebrated movies of all time. I love this movie and could watch it every day. It also has a kick ass theme song.

It’s my favorite movie so this was an easy choice. Since it already was mentioned in this meme I thought about using a different movie, but this is the right answer.

Day 16: A Film You Used to Love but Now Hate — Independence Day

When this movie first came I out friggin loved it! It was one of the coolest movies I ever saw. Now though, I see it as action filled nonsense. Bad acting, bad story, horrible scenes that make me roll my eyes so much it hurts. 

Think of it this way, they defeat the super advanced alien race by logging on to AOL and uploading a virus. Cause you know, the aliens wouldn’t have a firewall against shitty human internet connections.

Day 15: A Film that Depicts Your Life — Free Enterprise

Ok, this is not a perfect choice but it’s the best I could think of. The movie is about two huge Star Trek fans who are both lost in their lives until they meet their idol, William Shatner. I’ve never met William Shatner, and but I definitely know what it’s like to be a huge Star Trek fan. :)

Day 14: A Movie No One Expected You to Like - The Muppets

This is such a great movie, and I never thought I would like it anywhere close to as much as I did. People that know me probably would think the same thing.

Day 13: A Guilty Pleasure — Mean Girls

This is a great movie staring four beautiful young actresses, along with SNL stars Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Tim Meadows. Honestly though, I only watch it because of these ladies.

Day 12: A Film by Your Least Favorite Director — The Happening (M. Night Shyamalan)

I really don’t like these “least favorite” categories because I never really think about things that way. I chose Shyamalan because he had such promise, and then became total shit. This is an utterly horrible film, and it’s not even his worst. He totally crapped on The Last Airbender too, that’s a big reason he’s today’s choice.

Day 11: A Film by Your Favorite Director — E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (Steven Spielberg)

Such an epic film. A personal favorite.

Day 10: Favorite Film with Your Favorite Actress — V for Vendetta (Natalie Portman)

Much the same as I don’t have a favorite actor, I don’t have a favorite actress, but Natalie Portman is definitely a favorite. Easy choice would be Black Swan for her, but I do love V for Vendetta.

Day 9: Favorite Film with Your Favorite Actor — Moon (Sam Rockwell)

I don’t really have a favorite actor, but Sam Rockwell is definitely one of my favorites and Moon is one of his best. He’s pretty much alone throughout the whole movie, and the science of this Sci-fi movie is decently sound. 

If you haven’t seen this one, check it out. 

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is another gem from Rockwell.

I don’t know if this is the one I quote “best”, but it’s the best I could think of.

I watched this movie almost everyday back when I had a HUGE crush on Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I loved my time at Space Camp every year I went. While this is a not a very good movie, it’s a lot of fun and not surprisingly always reminds me of some of the best times I ever had.

Day 5: A Movie That Reminds You Of Someone — Star Wars

Whenever I watch any of the Star Wars films I think of the biggest Star Wars fan I know, my friend from high school, Shiraz. He read the books, and schooled me many times on the back story to this epic.
